I used this product for spice rack but ordered it for decorations at graduation party it was great everyone loved itThanksThis is a simple label printer without a lot of features. If you are OK with one font and don't mind that the keys are kind of mushy, then you'll find this to be OK. I wanted to label some of my cables so I found this to be good enough. My wife picked this up to organize her crafting supplies, but I used up the entire first tape on my board games and had to get more for her. With that confession out of the way, this label maker is...ok. Between the mushy buttons and the lack of any real extras, it feels like a Speak & Spell with a printer on it. Even the extras it does have feel either like they're hidden or like they technically exist, but not in a very useful way. For instance, capitalizing letters isn't done with the very prominent Shift key, you have to notice the a/A key in the rows above, then figure out that you have to press it to capitalize, then either wait several seconds for the "Capital" indicator to leave the screen before you start typing, or press a button to make it go away before you continue. Then if you only wanted one letter capitalized, you have to do it all over again to go back to lower case. Overall, I felt like it took me at least twice as long to make any given label as it should have, possibly more.It can do multiple lengths of labels to save paper (which I found out after I had run out), but a) that function requires you to guess how much space you're going to need for what you're typing, and b) is hidden behind multiple button presses that aren't very intuitive. It also does adjust your font size to keep you from running out of space, but it only does so at the point where the letters have run into the sides of the box they're in, so unless you're really good at guessing letter sizes and such, you'll just have to be surprised when you see the final product. The labels themselves are the same quality you'd get from any other thermal label maker, so they're also fine. They're crisp and easy to read.If you are okay with just the Arial font and want an all-in-one thermal label printer that can run off batteries, this is a nice unit. The ad claims 3 fonts. There is only the Arial font in normal, narrow, and wide widths. The label maker supports tape widths of: 3.5/6mm: 1 line of print 9mm: max 3 lines of print 12mm: max 4 lines of printIt comes with a 12mm cartridge of white laminated adhesive ribbon.Print resolution is 180 x 180 dpi.Comes with the AC adaptor and a spare "Cutter holder" (plastic part that stops the cutter blade). The manual covers a lot. It is missing instructions for installing the cartridge and replacing the "Cutter holder".The contrast on the screen is low. Helps to use it in a well lit area. The keys are rubbery with too much play in them. I found myself pressing each key very deliberately and checking if the screen changed.Overall, I found it quick and easy to use without having to depend on the manual. I've included a picture of my first label proudly displayed on the crisper bin in my refrigerator. If you are okay with using your smartphone to design a label, want more fonts, and higher DPI, there are smaller thermal label printers for slightly less money that your smartphone prints to over Bluetooth. This label maker feels fairly solid, and the buttons are easy to press. Comes with a full roll of tape, and instructions are pretty clear. As a joke my gf made a label and put it on her shirt, forgot about it, but after a wash and dry cycle it’s still sticking! I thought that was pretty impressive! You have the option of a power cord, or 6 AAA batteries. The buttons aren’t phenomenal, but they haven’t gotten stuck yet. I’m not a fan of their choice in liquid crystals screen. It’s hard to read, even in good lighting, and some of the icons are quite small. If it was easier to read I would have given 4 stars, because label makers are awesome, and organization is hip daddy-O.If anything happens in the future, or I notice the buttons beginning to stick I’ll come back and edit this. This label maker comes with a 12 mm tape cartridge, AC power adapter, and also works on 6 AAA batteries (not included). What I like is that it is compatible with the Brother TZ tape cartiridges so getting replacement cartidiges is easy. I have used it to print numerous labels which all worked well. There are few areas which would need some improvements. (1) the display is very dim and there is no option to adjust the brightness / contrasts. (2) It is actually not saving label space since all prints has a 1" wasting lead space. (3) Instead of using the Shift key, we need to press a special button to turn on the Capital letter printing and press the button again to turn it off.
