I have used the snappy bun makers before and found the quality variable - some have been so snappy they're unusuable. These seemed a little smaller than some others but this actually works very well for my shoulder length and rather fine hair. They were very easy to use with just the right amount of snap. The sponge bun makers I'm finding harder to use - not because of this specific product but because they aren't as easy for me as the snappy ones. However, with some perserverance I'm beginning to get the hang of it and like the alternative, softer effect to the snappy bun maker. Overall, I'm very pleased with this set - you got three snappy bun makers and four sponge which was really good value and a good way to experiment with bun makers especially if you haven't used any before.
